Forward Monthly Review — January

Forward has gotten off to a strong start in 2025, and it’s because we’ve continued to build on top of all the great work we did in 2024.

For us, January was about consolidating the full-stack Forward experience by adding technical upgrades on the backend to the interface optimizations on the frontend of the Forward Marketplace.

Here are the biggest updates from last month.

The Forward Factory is Intuitive and Limitless

The Forward Factory has become the one-stop shop for Web3 deployment solutions because of the symbiotic relationship between Forward developers, template deployers, and end users.

Everyone has something to look forward to with the new marketplace updates we launched this month.

• We launched the “frontend and admin template uploads” update during the month. This means developers can now upload custom-built frontend and admin panel templates for their dApps.

As a template developer, you get more opportunities to unlock your creativity because you can now link the interface and backend with the smart contracts you want to deploy — seamless and automatic.

• Last month, automation took a giant step forward in the Forward Factory. The “map tags” page automatically inputs the function names from developers’ smart contracts, optimizing time and making deployments more efficient.

Developers can still manually input, customize, or make corrections to tags whenever they want.

• The Forward Marketplace is the destination for Web3 innovators who want to stand out in their unique visions, and the new template customization options added to the Forward Factory have made it even easier to help you connect with users.
