Forward Monthly Review — March

March was an eventful month for different reasons. The failure of two apparently healthy traditional banks reminded us of the importance of the transparency that blockchain technology provides in preventing financial meltdowns of this magnitude.

While blockchain has some flaws, it is an upgrade to the existing system. One of its limitations is the technical knowledge barrier, which often prevents the average user from using the solutions built on this innovation.

However, the events of March highlighted the importance of Forward’s no-code adoption toolkit in fostering blockchain adoption. So, how did we get along with our mission to unlock the limitless potential inherent within the blockchain for different classes of users?

Forward Partnerships 🤝

Forward aims to create a seamless path for non-technical users to connect to the blockchain-based innovations they need. We are closer to becoming the interface of the blockchain through our strategic partnerships with the leading innovations within the sector.

• We also received positive news on the grant proposal we submitted to MetisDAO’s DAOtribution Grants program on their Koris platform.

Special shout-outs to our long-time supporters — Michael Antonov, (the CPO and Co-Founder of 8.Finance) and Max Yampolsky (the CEO of One Click Crypto).

Technical Updates ⚙️

March was a big month for us and our developers had a huge role in the optimism we feel as we head into the new month. The technical masterminds behind our momentum always step forward to be counted, and we love them for the work they do.

This month, we

• Successfully installed the image SDKs for Solana, Algorand, Cardano, and Cosmos
• Successfully set up Nodes for Solana, Algorand, Cardano, and Cosmos to test on our network
• Moved to VDI for the internal work environment
• Developed and tested an AI that collects, analyzes, and suggests fixes or updates to the file uploaded from the Wizard before developers submit it as a template.
• Successfully uploaded and compiled file extensions for .rs, .hs, .py, .plutus and .go for smart contract templates.

For the Forward Cause ⏩

As Forward continues in its mission to forge the path to mass adoption, our co-founders are also engaged with stakeholders in this space and beyond, forming the connections that have brought us this far and will continue to spur us into the future.

Our co-founders, Mitch and Mr. KEY, were busy throughout the last month. They were together at the Jordan Web3 Summit where they met Ahmad Hanandeh, the Minister of the Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in Jordan and Dr. Christina Yan Zhang, the CEO of The Metaverse Institute.

Mitch covered ground by himself, connecting with Don Tapscott (Co-Founder & Executive Chairman of Blockchain R.I.), Ian Putter (Head of Blockchain COE — Standard Bank Group), and Sean Emery (Head of Strategic Partnerships at VALR).

He also joined representatives from BNB and Unicrypt on Alpha Guilty’s Twitter Space discussion to discuss “the role of social media in growing the Web3 and Crypto community.”

Our Co-Founder, Mr. KEY, was also busy. He joined Timothy Hughes, the CEO & Co-Founder of DLA Ignite and host of the Tim Talk show. Watch the video to catch up on the insights he shared about how blockchain can transform how individuals and businesses operate.
