Forward Protocol Progress Report

It’s a good time to be a Forwardian, and we are not just saying that. Every week brings us big news and many highlights, and we are taking giant strides towards our ultimate vision of global blockchainization.

The last week was no exception as we achieved new milestones on different levels across the project. It’s a revolving door of exciting news around here, so understandably, you must have missed something while you were busy with your week. How about we go over some of the best bits together?

Technical Updates

We got great news on the technical development front.

• Our Proof of Ownership child (PoO) smart contract that functions on ERC721 and ERC1155 standards is now complete.
• The first version of our PoO will be EVM-based, with RUST-based support included in later versions.
• The bulk minting feature on the PoO Forward Factory is now ready to enable switching between single mint and bulk mint functionality seamlessly.
• Our monthly report also got published on our Medium page. Check it out.

There’s so much more to expect from our development team, but that’s not all! You can also be a part of the movement! Developers and other contributors will soon be able to contribute to our smart contract library to improve the blockchain space and get financial rewards. We are going forward together.

Partnership and Moving Forward Together

Our Web3 Masterminds series got a new installment during the week when Gregory Crous, the CEO of H3RO3S, joined Mitch Rankin for a new episode. This vision takes consistency and working with the best to achieve our dreams. You can catch the full episode here.

Our week also had major updates on the partnership front as we announced two major partnership announcements.

We got our partnership with BlockWallet over the line, and news doesn’t get bigger than that! Our new partners share our vision to improve security and privacy standards throughout blockchain systems. Catch all the details of this partnership in our Medium release.

As our IVO event draws closer, we are putting all the final pieces in place to ensure we outdo our success with our token sale events in December. Our integration with Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Function will allow us to leverage Chainlink’s industry-leading random number generator (RNG) solution to ensure transparency and fairness in assigning allowlist slots in our upcoming IVO event.

We also had the unique pleasure of becoming part of the Cosmos Ecosystem. Cosmos is an ever-expanding ecosystem of interconnected apps and services, building towards a decentralized future. They share our vision, and we are working together because that’s how Forward Protocol does it. We compete with nobody and collaborate with everybody to make this vision come true.

When we are not announcing partnerships, we are networking with old partners and meeting new friends to progress our vision. Our Co-founder, Mitch Rankin, met like-minded innovators, Gideon Greaves (Managing Director, Africa of CV VC), David Gan (Founder and General Partner of OP Crypto), and Ran Neuner (Co-founder and CEO of Onchain Capital). Dreams work when teams work.
