Since we figured that all of you are VIPs for us, we decided to reconsider the name and we decided to rebrand! This is why we are presenting you with Forward’s very own Inner Circle and its RuleBook! The Forward Inner Circle is an exclusive invitation-only club for the leading contributors to community growth and positive vibes. This group will be based on Telegram and qualification is up for grabs by every Forward Protocol member. Every community member has equal chances to get in the club as well as get kicked out (the door opens both ways, fellows!). If you missed the first announcement, you can read more about it here.

So, what is a private club without rules of membership?

The RuleBook

Rules rule!

When rules are fair, they help us maintain order and preserve working systems from falling to degeneration. Forward’s Inner Circle has its set of rules that govern qualification, addition, and removal from the group. It helps us maintain fairness and transparency, fundamental tenets of Forward Protocol’s vision.

Qualification

Forward Protocol’s Inner Circle is a free-to-join Telegram group, with meaningful community interaction, engagement and contribution as the sole criteria for qualification. The group will have a finite number of members, which is not a flexible figure except if the team votes to add new members. This number will be 50 members.

Community members can join the Inner Circle when they rank within the 3 highest positions based on activity on the leaderboard in the main chat. The leaderboard will be reviewed by the team by the end of each month and the lucky Forwardians to level up will be elected.

Other ways to get in include -

  • Winning community contests such as creative, content, or knowledge-based competitions.
  • Special recognition for consistently contributing to community growth or overall development
  • Be part of our Partners’ team (Integration Partners)

Caveat — Eligibility does not equal membership.

When you become eligible to become a member of the inner circle, you may join the group when spots become open. If there are no open positions, you will join the waitlist until a slot becomes open for you when an existing member leaves the group or the team increases the membership limit.

The Carrot

Exclusive groups usually offer benefits for membership to motivate members and encourage non-members to aspire. Why else would anyone jump through literal hoops to join the circus?

When you join Forward’s Inner Circle, you enter a group with the leading minds behind Forward Protocol, including our co-founders, core team members, and other like-minded Forwardians like yourself. You get -

  • early access to information and announcements up to 1 day ahead of the main group whenever possible.
  • to witness and participate in (live) discussions with Mr. KEY and Mitch about Forward Protocol and the key decisions about the future
  • a certificate of membership that will be issued to every member using the Proof of Ownership (PoO) smart contract once it goes live
  • a special tag next to your name in the main Forward Protocol chat to signify your status
  • Guaranteed allocation for the upcoming IVO. Members will be eligible for pool 1, but they will need to claim their rewards within the specified time limit of 1 hour once the IVO is live.

This membership is the gift that keeps on giving! More perks will be announced soon.

The Stick

Members of the group need to maintain a quality activity level in the main chat to retain their membership status and keep up with their active involvement in Forward. Members who do not meet these requirements for 2 consecutive months will lose their VIP status, and their position will become open to eligible community members.

Please note that the RuleBook is still in development; it is subject to revisions. The Forward Team reserves the right to do any alterations it deems necessary.

FAQs

What do you look for in a member?

Forward Protocol Inner Circle members are the most active, creative, and inventive members of the Forward Protocol community. Every Forward Protocol member has equal opportunities to join the inner circle as long as they contribute to the community’s growth or Forward’s overall development.

What is the application process like?

There is no official application process. Community members become eligible according to activity, meaningful contribution, and participation in community events such as creative, content and knowledge-based competitions. The highest-ranking members become eligible to join the inner circle at the earliest opportunity.

How much is the membership fee?

There are no financial requirements involved in becoming a member of the inner circle. Instead, membership offers incentives such as private contests, early access to information, and interaction with core team members.

How often do you take in new members?

Once our slots are filled, Forward Inner Circle accepts new members when a position becomes open. This process is not time-dependent. It will accept new members as often as new positions open, either when a former member loses their position or the team increases the membership limit.
